A Look Into The Maiden’s Journey

“The maiden of the sea would come to splash at ocean’s edge

Beneath a weeping willow tree near the ivy cottage ledge

The willow tree stood tall and strong, sipping from a stream

Cradling like a lover, the mermaid while she dreamed”

(Excerpt from “The Maiden’s Journey”)

Through unwavering hope, faith, love, and against all earthly odds, divine intervention bestows upon a young sea maiden a magnificent transformation.  In the classical tradition of literary excellence, these poems are reminiscent of many faerie tales of long ago.  The reader will travel through mystical stories of beauty, magic, and miracles, that transcend ordinary reality.
